If You Are One of 18,000

If you are one the 18,000 who married, or know someone who is, we need your help.
We are looking for couples married between June and November 2008 to share their story and wedding picture for Spouses for Life: The Wedding Book Project.
Spouses for Life is a collection of wedding photos and stories from same sex couples married between June and November 2008 while it was legal. The wedding photos and stories will be organized chronologically with the ultimate goal of representing at least one couple for every day that marriages were legal here in California.
We feel strongly that these stories are an important part of our shared history and a wonderful and accessible subject for community outreach. The collection will be curated into a traveling exhibit as well as a beautifully bound book.
We are already getting a lot of positive response, but we do not have nearly enough couples to move this project to the next phase. If you are a married couple, please, please participate.
If you are not one the 18,000 that married, we still need your help. Please help spread the word to people you know who did marry. Send them this web page with the social bookmarking buttons at the bottom of this post.
Thanks again for your help!
